Edge and corner tiles are harder to clear; handle them early. As you gain confidence, look for opportunities to clear two, three or four directions at once — those are the high-value plays.

• Build cross shapes: Cross and plus-shaped clusters around a candidate tile yield multi-direction clears when clicked.
